Rockets from Gaza fly into Israel on the day before the anniversary of the Hamas attack

The Israeli military said rockets fired from the northern Gaza Strip entered southern Israel on Sunday, a day before the first anniversary of the Oct. 7 Hamas attack.

“Several projectiles were identified that entered Israeli territory from the northern Gaza Strip. “One projectile was intercepted and the rest fell into open areas,” the military said in a statement, with Israeli forces prepared for attacks ahead of the grim anniversary of the Palestinian attacks, an unprecedented attack by the militants.
