“The enemy has once again used its drones against Kiev,” said Serhiy Popko, head of Kiev’s military administration, in a post on Telegram. “Russian drones entered the capital of Ukraine in several waves and from different directions.”

According to the state emergency service, one person was injured and warehouses and trucks were damaged in the multi-wave attack in Odessa.

Oleksandr Prokudin, governor of the southern Kherson region, said on Telegram on Sunday that one civilian had died and 15 were injured in Russian attacks on the region in the past 24 hours, Reuters reported.

The Russian attacks came a day after Ukrainian forces said a Russian warplane had been shot down in the Donetsk region. The incident occurred near the town of Kostiantynivka, the head of the town’s military administration, Serhiy Horbunov, was quoted as saying by Ukrainian public broadcaster Suspilne.
