Diddy predicted his partying would lead to him being arrested in a resurfaced interview

A resurfaced interview clip of Sean “Diddy” Combs had him predicting that his partying would end with his arrest.

The musician is currently in prison after being arrested in New York City on charges of extortion, forcible sex trafficking, fraud or coercion, and transportation for the purpose of engaging in prostitution.

Combs has pleaded not guilty and denied any criminal wrongdoing as more people come forward with allegations of sexual abuse.

Diddy remains behind bars for now, having been denied bail twice.

A representative of his legal team said: “As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every unfounded allegation in what has become a ruthless media circus.”

“Nevertheless, Mr. Combs strongly and categorically denies as false and defamatory any allegation that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.

“He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be determined based on evidence and not speculation.”

Given the allegations against him, his past statements and things others have said about him are being reviewed.

In a 1999 clip, the musician talked about his parties and said, “They’ll probably arrest me.”

He said, “You’re going to hear about my parties, they’re going to shut them down, they’re probably going to arrest me and do all sorts of crazy things.”

“Just because we want to have a good time.”

Other old Diddy interviews that have been investigated since the allegations against Combs were made and the rapper was arrested include an appearance he made Ellen from 2009.

In that interview, he said his parties took place between 9:30 p.m. and about 3 a.m., and when DeGeneres said she expected a Diddy party to start around midnight, he said “a different kind of party.”

Diddy then said that the party would be followed by an “after-party” that would take place on the “top two floors” of a hotel.

A 2011 interview in which Combs spoke to Justin Bieber The Jimmy Kimmel Show had the rapper saying that they had “become friends in a weird way.”

“He knows better than to talk about the things he does with Big Brother Puff on national television,” Diddy said elsewhere in the interview.

“Not everything is for everyone.”

These comments have now led some people to question whether there is more to these words given the possible context and allegations made against Diddy.
