How and when to watch the Nuggets and Celtics game on Sunday

The Nuggets and Celtics opened the NBA preseason on Friday with their game in Abu Dhabi. The two teams stayed in the capital of the United Arab Emirates. They will play the second leg of their pre-season series on Sunday before returning to the United States to complete their respective pre-season campaigns.

Both teams showed some positive signs, but the Celtics ultimately won the first game 107-103. But these games are about much more than the final result. At the end of the game, neither team had their starters on the field; We will once again see limited minutes, longer rotations and substitutes getting a real chance.

The second part of the NBA’s Abu Dhabi Games takes place early Sunday at 8 a.m. Wake up bright and early, grab your breakfast and coffee, and settle in to watch the Nuggets take on the Celtics for the second time.

The game will once again be televised locally on cable television, but will also be shown nationally on NBATV and available to stream anywhere on the NBA app. The game is also available to all out-of-market fans with NBA League Pass.

Nuggets fans saw some good things in the first game, but it would be nice to see more of Jamal Murray in the second game. He played 15 relatively quiet minutes on Friday. We want to see him step in and get his offense going early.

We also didn’t see many young players stepping up on offense. It would be nice to see a little more aggression and more shots from Christian Braun and Julian Strawther. Similarly, I don’t want to see Russell Westbrook lead the team in 3-point attempts again.

Russ made six 3s in just 18 minutes the other morning. That’s not a recipe for success for this Nuggets team. The team needs to highlight Westbrook’s strengths and hide his weaknesses; Letting him jack up 3s all game is basically a doomsday scenario.
