The Greenville Co. shooting leaves one dead and one injured, officials say

GREENVILLE, SC (FOX Carolina) – The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office is reporting a response to a shooting Sunday morning that left one victim dead and another injured.

Officers report they received a call at 2:57 a.m. in reference to a shooting near Greer Highway.

Two men were found at the scene with gunshot wounds, officials said.

According to deputies, one victim died after the incident while the other was taken to the hospital.

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office reports that it is interviewing a person of interest.
