‘Had no pulse’: Al Pacino recalls near-death experience after contracting COVID in 2020

He stated that he “had no pulse” and “experienced death.” Maybe not. I don’t think I have that. I know I did it.”

“I don’t think I died. Everyone thought I was dead. How could I be dead? When I was dead, I fainted,” he added. “And when I opened my eyes, there were six paramedics in my living room. There was an ambulance outside the door and two of my doctors in these spacesuits [like] on Mars. I looked around and thought, “What happened to me?”

“So I couldn’t have died, because how did all these people get together, the ambulance in front of my house?” Pacino shared.

The Godfather star claimed that when he realized something was wrong, his “amazing assistant Michael Quinn” immediately called an ambulance. “He got people to come because the nurse who was taking care of me said, ‘I don’t feel a pulse on this person,'” Pacino recalls.

When asked if he had changed after going through so much during the pandemic, he replied, “Not at all,” People reported.
