Tragic discovery: Remains of missing man found in well in Ullal

The mortal remains of Prasad (44), a miss An unmarried man was discovered in a well near his house at Kollya Kujumagadde in Ullal Police District this afternoon. Prasad, a resident of Kollya in Someshwara municipality, was last seen leaving his house on October 4, leaving behind his mobile phone. Concerned, his brother filed a missing person report with the Ullal police station, which led to searches at their home and relatives’ homes.

This afternoon, Prasad’s sandals were found near a dilapidated well near his residence. Following this tip, authorities, assisted by firefighters, investigated the well where they tragically found his remains.

Prasad had lived in Kujumagadde with his family for several years and worked as a painter. Friends and family mentioned that he had been struggling with depression in recent days, leading authorities to suspect that he may have taken his own life due to the condition. He leaves behind his parents, two brothers and a sister.
