Zendaya explains key plot details of Euphoria season 3

It feels like Euphoria hasn’t been on our screens for many lifetimes, and viewers have been dying to find out what happened to Rue (Zendaya) and her suitcase, what friendship exists between Maddy (Alexa Demie) and Cassie ( Sydney Sweeney) passes and as Lexis (Maude Apatow) the game came to an end.

It’s been a long and winding road for the third season of the teen drama, and although HBO has confirmed that it will return with a time jump and many of the original cast, many questions still remained unanswered – until now.

On Entertainment Weekly’s The Awards podcast, Zendaya explained that the time jump was the right call for the show because “you can only take so much with high school drama,” before joking, “And then she cheats on her boyfriend again!” “

While the actress obviously had to keep the details of season three under wraps, there is excitement ahead.

“I don’t actually know much about what’s happening,” she said. “I don’t know exactly what the season will look like, but I know the time jump is happening.”
