Kamala Harris will be a guest on “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert” on October 8th

Vice President Kamala Harris is adding a second CBS appearance to her schedule next week.

Harris will be a guest The Late Show with Stephen Colbert On Tuesday, the network and campaign announced. The show will be her first late-night interview since running for Democratic Party president and her seventh appearance The Late Show in total. She was last a guest on the show in March 2023.

The Late show The appearance will come one day after one 60 minutes Interview with Harris will also air on CBS. The election special also extended an invitation to Republican candidate Donald Trump, who initially agreed to the interview but then withdrew. Scott Pelley, who was scheduled to interview Trump, will address Trump’s absence on the show; Bill Whitaker will interview Harris. (The 60 minutes The special will air on Monday as the show is preceded by a special broadcast celebrating the 50th anniversary of the American Music Awards from its regular Sunday appearance.)

Harris’ running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, will also be on the late-night circuit next week. He will be a guest Jimmy Kimmel Live! Monday night on ABC, his first-ever appearance on a late-night show on the network. Walz will also take part 60 minutes Special offer on Monday.
