Peter Andre has revealed he is no longer welcome at King Charles’ iconic London home after a minor blunder that caused major damage.

Peter, 51, is best known as a ’90s crooner rather than someone with a bad boy personality, and yet the Mysterious Girl singer could be one of the few celebrities banned from Buckingham Palace.

The singer was in the palace three times. In 2019 he attended the Duke of Edinburgh’s awards ceremony twice and again the next day with his wife Emily Macdonagh, 35, at the Not Forgotten Association’s annual garden party.

Peter revealed that although he may have been invited twice five years ago, he is now persona non grata in the palace.

When asked if it was true that he was “no longer welcome” at Buckingham Palace, the singer said: “Let’s put it this way, I haven’t received a return invitation.”

He explained that he accidentally committed a faux pas that caused quite a bit of damage.

“I was invited there by the Prince’s Trust and was telling a joke when I knocked over my black coffee and it stained this beautiful red carpet,” he told the Times.

“One of the employees joked, ‘One square meter of this carpet costs more than your house.’ We laughed, but I was devastated.”

He revealed that word of his mistake spread throughout the castle and even the staff joked with him about it.

“As I was leaving, a security guard at the front gate said, “Her Majesty will not be happy.”

“They all knew about it before I left the building.”

The singer first rose to fame in the UK when his 1995 hit “Mysterious Girl” reached number one following a reissue.

In 2004, he appeared on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! and then met his ex-wife Katie Price, with whom he has two children.

Speaking about his five children in the Times interview, Peter said his children Princess and Junior get along well with his three younger children and his wife Emily.

“They love her. The princess comes downstairs in the morning and says, “Dad, drink your coffee.” I’ll take Belle. “For a 17-year-old, she’s incredible.

“Junior, who is 19, will kiss the baby and argue with Theo. “They have a great bond but then, like many teenagers, he disappears into his room.”

In a birthday post earlier this year, Peter called his daughter Princess a diva and joked that her diva moments would only make him love her even more.
