A child has died in an accident on a farm in Parke County

PARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Parke County officials have confirmed that a child was killed in a farm accident in Parke County on Saturday afternoon.

According to a Facebook post, Parke County deputies responded to a farm accident call at 1000 E after an 8-year-old boy fell off the front loader while driving and was run over. The child was pronounced dead due to the injuries sustained.

Parke County EMS, Bellmore First Responders and Lifeline assisted at the scene.
