One was injured in a stabbing at the Apple Orchard Apartments

A woman was injured in an altercation at the Apple Orchard Apartments at 902 Blossom Lane in Warren County Saturday evening.

According to Sheriff Martin Pace, 911 received a call shortly after 10 p.m. about a disturbance at the apartments where someone had been injured.

When officers arrived, they found an adult female with lacerations to her arm. The victim refused to be transported by ambulance for treatment. However, the sheriff’s office was later notified that she eventually arrived at the emergency room in a private vehicle, where she was treated and released.

“While we have the identity of the other person involved in the disturbance, we have not yet had the opportunity to interview them,” Sheriff Pace said. “So no arrests have been made at this point.”

This matter remains under investigation by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office. The Vicksburg Daily News will provide you with more information as it becomes available.
