The Serbian priest is imprisoned for sexually molesting a 13-year-old girl from Çaçak – Telegraph

IJ, pastor of Davidovica Monastery in Çaçak District, was arrested and remanded in custody on suspicion of sexually molesting a 13-year-old girl.

In a story on Serbian media, the minor child’s grandfather says that everything happened when she returned from the store.

“My mother, great-grandmother and I are raising my granddaughter. In the summer they both often go to the village because of the sheep and the garden; they love life in the village. That morning she was with me, we brought her aunt some produce from the garden they both grew.

“I went to work and she told me I was going to the store, I said fine and she left. A few hours later, a relative told me what had happened,” said the minor’s grandfather.

He added that when he arrived at the scene he met the police and then heard what happened.

“A few meters from the road, in front of some inns in the village, sat the priest. She said she didn’t hear him calling, but he waved and motioned for her to come,” he says.

The 13-year-old girl’s grandfather says there is no confirmation, but he believes that the arrested person was previously known to the police.

Residents of this district say that the priest was arrested at the house of ZS, the woman previously described by the Serbian media as a person with “healing powers.”
