Tragic incident occurs at CRPF camp in Guwahati city

GUWAHATI: A shocking incident has rocked the 175th Battalion CRPF camp in Rani, Guwahati, where police chief Jadhav Atul Hari, a jawan from Maharashtra, allegedly committed suicide with his service rifle. The incident took place on Friday evening when Hari shot himself in the head in his quarters.

The camp reeled as authorities found Hari’s body in a pool of blood, his rifle lying next to him. Local police and army officials arrived at the scene to assess the situation and launch an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the jawan’s tragic death. While the motive or reason behind Hari’s extreme step remains unknown, officials are working tirelessly to bring out the truth.
