Redding police are searching for suspects, ages 18 and 19, in connection with the shooting

Redding police investigators have identified two teenagers suspected in an early Friday morning shooting that left two men dead and three other people injured.

Police identified Andrew Greer-Herrera, 19, of Lookout, California, as the primary suspect in the shooting, Redding police said in a Facebook post Saturday evening. Investigators have obtained an arrest warrant for Greer-Herrera on murder charges, according to the Facebook post, which also states that Greer-Herrera’s whereabouts are currently unknown.

Investigators also obtained an arrest warrant for 18-year-old Trevon Evanoff on conspiracy charges stemming from his role in the incident, police said. Evanoff’s whereabouts are also unknown, Redding police said in their Facebook statement Saturday.

The investigators are asking for help in finding the two identified people.

Redding Police officials asked the public not to contact the individuals if they are seen because of concerns that the suspects may be armed and dangerous, but to call the Shasta Area Safety Communications Agency (SHASCOM) at 911.

On Friday, Redding Police Sgt. Aaron Hollemon told Record Searchlight that the shooting did not appear to be random.
