A message was shared on Trump’s account saying that the CEO of JPMorgan Chase had endorsed him

(Web Desk) – Donald Trump – or at least someone with access to his Truth Social account – has once again shared a false celebrity endorsement.

Earlier this year, Trump released images suggesting that global star Taylor Swift had supported him. That was wrong.

On Friday, Trump’s account posted a message saying JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon had endorsed him.

That is also wrong.

A screenshot posted on the former president’s Truth Social page read: “New: JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon has endorsed Trump for president.”

Minutes after the post went live, the company denied the claim. A spokesperson for Dimon told CNBC: “Jamie Dimon has not endorsed anyone. He didn’t support any candidate.”

According to a CNBC report, the false claim likely came from a verified account on X. The post was made by users on

The question arises as to who posted the message, as Trump claims he had no knowledge of the fake recommendation.
“Someone put it up,” Trump told NBC News. “I don’t know.”

Despite being told the post was inaccurate and acknowledging he was aware of its existence, Trump did not remove the post as of 8:30 p.m. EST Friday. The post remained on his page for six hours at the time of publishing this report.

Trump has previously suggested that Dimon could be his nominee for treasury secretary in a possible second Trump administration.

However, Dimon made it clear in a September interview with CNBCTV that he did not want to support Trump or Vice President Kamala Harris.

“I don’t support anyone right now,” he said.

During the Republican primaries, Dimon supported former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley over Trump. The former president didn’t take kindly to the snub, portraying Dimon as a fraud when he said he “had to live with that guy when he came to the White House begging.”

Earlier this summer, Trump’s Truth Social account posted AI-generated images of women wearing T-shirts that read “Swifties for Trump” and shared a message suggesting that Swift supported him. At that time he replied with “I accept!”

Weeks later, when Swift endorsed Harris, Trump changed his mind on Truth Social, posting: “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!”
