Hours-long standoff ends with arrest in Waukesha: reports

WAUKESHA, Wis. – An hours-long standoff reportedly ended with a man’s arrest Saturday.

The standoff occurred at a home in the 300 block of Moreland Boulevard and lasted about six hours, TMJ4 reported.

As FOX6 News reported, authorities used a tactical vehicle to break down the front door and break a window to get the man to leave the building.

According to the FOX6 report, a man was led out in handcuffs, bleeding from the head. An officer also appeared to have been injured, according to the report.

TMJ4 reported Waukesha police had been on scene since the afternoon and had closed several streets, including Moreland Boulevard.

Neighbors told FOX6 police were at the same home a few weeks ago, confronted the suspect and left.
