Tragic accident in Turkey, 14 children lost their lives – Telegraph

At least 14 children have died in southern Turkey when the bus they were traveling in plunged off a bridge into a canal.

The bus was returning from the famous archaeological site of Karatepe near the town of Osmaniye on June 5 when it plunged into the canal, Turkish news agencies reported.

Six of the 14 victims are said to have been high school students.

Dogan News Agency said the driver lost control of the bus while investigations into the case had already begun.

24 other people were injured in this accident.
