If Trump loses, it will be the “last election.”

If Trump loses, it will be the “last election.”

Donald Trump returned to Butler, Pennsylvania, to the grounds of the Butler Farm Show for the first time since an assassination attempt on his life in July that killed volunteer firefighter Corey Comperatore and sent two other men to the hospital during the shootout. They were all hit after gunman Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, of Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, opened fire from an unsecured roof nearby before being fatally shot by authorities.

It’s a month before Election Day and it was clear there was a lot at stake at Saturday’s event. The rally, which included a solemn moment of silence for Comperatore with a live performance of Lee Greenwald’s “God Bless the USA” and opera singer Christopher Macchio singing “Ave Maria,” also involved Trump bringing out key people from his camp to raise spirits According to Right Side Broadcasting, tens of thousands of Trump supporters should ensure that those who support Trump go to the polls.

The big guest was Elon Musk, the billionaire whose takeover of Twitter, now known as X, was a public disaster. He publicly supported Trump after the July assassination, but his MAGA beliefs were put into action long before then. At Saturday’s rally, Musk proudly wore a black MAGA baseball cap. “I’m the dark MAGA,” he joked after joining Trump on stage, where he jumped around happily (and shuddered) before his speech. Musk falsely claimed that “the other side wants to take away your freedom of speech.” They want to take away your right to bear arms. They want to effectively disenfranchise you,” he claimed.

He then encouraged listeners to vote and get their friends to vote for Trump too. “This is a must-win situation. So I have a request for everyone in the audience… This one request is very important. Register to vote. OK? And get everyone you know and everyone you don’t know to register and vote.”

He added: “And then make sure they actually vote.” If not, this will be the last election. That’s my prediction.”

Trump’s guests also included his vice president, JD Vance, as well as his son Eric Trump and Eric’s wife Lara, co-chair of the Republican National Committee, all of whom seemingly baselessly suggested that Democrats were responsible for the Butler assassination attempt (Crooks was registered). Republican and gave a $15 donation to a progressive, anti-Trump PAC on President Joe Biden’s inauguration day, campaign finance records show. Vance claimed: “At first they tried to silence him. When that didn’t work, they tried to bankrupt him. When that didn’t work, they tried to lock him up. And with all the hatred they had for President Trump, it was only a matter of time before someone tried to kill him.”

Meanwhile, Eric Trump claimed: “And then they tried to kill him.” They tried to kill him. And that’s because the Democratic Party can’t do anything right.”

Trump himself said Saturday: “Over the last eight years, those who want to stop us from achieving that future have vilified me, impeached me, indicted me, tried to remove me from the ballot, and who knows… Maybe they even tried “Kill me.”

Trump’s last visit to Butler nearly three months ago, on July 13, left him injured in the shooting, in which he was hit in the right ear and was dragged from the stage with his face covered in blood while pumping his fist in the air.

On trend

Butler County in the crucial presidential election state of Pennsylvania favored Trump. He won the district in both 2016 and 2020 with around 66 percent of the vote. With its coveted 19 electoral votes, the state helped President Joe Biden win the 2020 election after voting for former President Donald Trump in 2016. Polling from Project 538 has Harris leading statewide at 48.4 percent, ahead of Trump at 45.9 percent, while the lead has narrowed in Pennsylvania, where Harris was at 47.9 percent and Trump at 47.3 percent as of Saturday morning.

Trump returns to the campaign trail on Sunday, where he will appear in Juneau, Wisconsin.
