Crash kills 2 in Linden. It’s the second fatal crash on the same stretch of Route 1 this week.

Two men were killed in an overnight crash on Route 1 in Linden, a little more than a day after another fatal crash on the same route.

Officers responded to a crash at 3 a.m. Saturday and discovered a sedan was traveling northbound when it struck a tractor-trailer that was turning left onto South Stiles Street from a southbound lane, police said Linden said in a statement.

Two passengers in the car died. One of the two was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
