A 32-year-old is seriously injured in a shooting in Logan Square

A man was shot and seriously injured in the Logan Square neighborhood in northwest Chicago on Saturday afternoon.

According to police, the 32-year-old was near the sidewalk when someone in a nearby vehicle began shooting in the 2700 block of West North Avenue around 5 p.m.

The victim was shot in the leg and buttocks and taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was serious.

There were no arrests. The criminal police are investigating.
