Pune: 5-year-old victim alleges sexual assault by minor from same housing society

Kondhwa, October 5, 2024: An incident of sexual assault involving a 5-year-old boy, allegedly by minors, has come to light in Kondhwa area of ​​Pune. A case has been registered against three minors aged 10, 11 and 13 for assaulting the boy. The victim’s parents have lodged a complaint at Kondhwa police station.

According to police reports, both the victim and the accused minors live in the same housing society. The victim was playing on the premises when the accused minors called him over, showed him obscene videos on their cell phones and behaved inappropriately towards him. The minors are then said to have sexually abused the victim.

The five-year-old reported this worrying information to his parents, prompting them to report it to the police. The Kondhwa police are currently investigating the matter.
