LA CROSSE TALK PM: UW-L’s Chergosky on the 0 million in outside money spent on Wisconsin’s Senate race, leaving Lang Dr. 90 behind. means another TP deficiency

We’re back! Dr. Anthony Chergosky, a political science professor at UW-La Crosse, is back in the studio to talk about the $110 million in outside money spent on Wisconsin’s U.S. Senate election, the second major TP shortfall in the UW-La Crosse 2020s I’m driving down Lang Drive at 90 miles per hour.

La Crosse Talk PM airs weekdays at 5:06 p.m. Listen on the WIZM app, online here or on 92.3 FM / 1410 AM / 106.7 FM (north of Onalaska). Find all the podcasts here or subscribe to La Crosse Talk PM wherever you get your podcasts.

Chergosky also gave some tribute to La Crosse Talk host Mike Hayes, who is battling pancreatic cancer.

We also touched on how the Brewers lost Game 3 of the Wild Card to the Mets and that stupid mascot Grimace is to blame, and we’re just back at La Crosse Talk PM with WIZM making some reallocations in Hayes’ absence .

The two big political stories we covered included outside money in the U.S. Senate race in Wisconsin, where $57 million was spent on Democrat Tammy Baldwin and $53 million on Eric Hovde – on top of that , that Baldwin spent $42 million on her own campaign, and Hovde spent $20 million.

Then we came across Harris campaigning with Republican Liz Cheaney in Ripon, Wisconsin, where the GOP party was born.

The toilet paper shortage is because people are freaking out about the longshoremen’s strike, which won’t be an “October surprise” since they postponed it until January.

And finally, this week, La Crosse police arrested a 19-year-old who was driving 90 miles per hour along Lang Drive near Menards during “rush hour.”
