While some people adjust to that New heights Football content podcast, others listen to learn more about Travis Kelce’s romance with Taylor Swift. Travis and his brother Jason Kelce did not disappoint their fans as they referenced Swift in numerous episodes.

Episode 50

Travis, 34, first spoke about the singer-songwriter, also 34, on the hit podcast in July 2023 after visiting the Epoch tour. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end had his eye on Swift before the concert, hoping to give her a friendship bracelet with his fingers.

“If you go to Taylor concerts, there are friendship bracelets and I got a few there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it,” Travis explained in the episode.

Jason, 36, then asked if he meant his football number [87] or his cell phone number, to which Travis replied, “You know which one.”

Episode 55

It’s unknown when exactly the NFL star started dating the pop sensation, but the couple made an official appearance in September 2023 when the musician came to watch Travis at a Chiefs game.

“How does it feel that Taylor Swift has finally made you famous?” Jason asked his younger sibling teasingly. “Kudos to Taylor for stopping,” Travis joked. “That was pretty bold.” Travis’ friends and family seemed to agree with Swift, telling Jason, “I just loved how everyone in the suite had nothing but great things to say about her.”

Travis then discussed how he wanted to make the relationship more private. “I know I drew all this attention to myself… I did the whole friendship bracelet thing and told everyone how upset I was that I didn’t get to meet Taylor,” Travis admitted. “What’s real is that it’s my private life and I want to respect both of our lives. She’s not in the media as much as I do this show every week,” the University of Cincinnati graduate added. “So if it continues, I think me talking about sports and saying, ‘Okay now,’ somehow I’ll keep it up,” Travis told listeners.

Episode 64

Travis didn’t keep things private for too long In November 2023, he gave insight into his trip to Buenos Aires, Argentina with the 14-time Grammy winner Epochs Tour. While on stage in Argentina, Swift changed the lyrics to her hit “Karma” for her new husband, singing, “Karma is the guy in the Chiefs.” Although the Super Bowl champion knew about the lyric change beforehand, he told Jason: “It still shocked me.”

In November 2023, Jason talked about how Travis broke an impressive record in his football career (becoming the fastest tight end to reach 11,000 yards). Travis didn’t seem impressed with his record, but Jason pointed out that he was someone who did.

“You may not care about records, but you know who gets 92 percent and her name is Taylor Swift…she liked an Instagram announcement from the Cheifs that you broke that record,” Jason joked.

“Thanks, Taylor. I appreciate you supporting us on the Chiefs side,” Travis replied.

Episode 69

Even sports fans who support opposing teams can’t get enough of Swift. In December 2023, Travis thought about New England Patriots fans cheering for Swift at a game. “You don’t see an entire home team fan base going crazy over someone wearing the opposing team’s colors. “It just shows how amazing this girl is,” Travis gushed.

Even though there were a few haters, most people were happy to see the celebrity. “Maybe a few Brads and Chads booed, but for the most part everyone was screaming like hell,” Travis remembers.

Episode 81

In March 2024, Travis shared a little about his trip to Singapore to watch Swift perform. “I saw two great shows Epoch tourTravis said to Jason in the episode.

Swift got people talking again when rapper Lil Dicky was a guest on the podcast in April 2024. Jason told him that a lot of Swifties were listening to the show now. When Lil Dicky asked how they were doing with all these new listeners, Travis said he was beyond happy. “I’m having a lot of fun in life… I’m bringing new life into the football world and opening the football world to new things,” he exclaimed. Lil Dicky further praised the relationship, to which Travis replied, “I don’t know how I did it because she wasn’t interested in sports.”

Episode 96

In June 2024, after watching the “Cruel Summer” singer perform at Wembley Stadium, the brothers did a podcast from London, England It was the first time Jason saw the Emmy winner in concert.

Travis compared the crowd when he played the Detroit Lions at Wembley Stadium to Swift’s show. “I remember 2015 when I played in front of 80,000 spectators [people] “At Wembley Stadium…they get a lot louder for Taylor than they do for American football,” Travis exclaimed.

On Wednesday, September 11, Travis and Jason wished the “Fortnight” singer good luck at the VMAs. “Hopefully Taylor can take some of these home with her. She’s nominated for like 10 of those things tonight,” Travis said.

After Travis said he wished “the best for everyone” at the awards show, Jason chimed in, “Unless you’re dealing with Tay.”
