Injury reports from Rutgers and Nebraska were released prior to Saturday’s game

Rutgers will soon open its fifth game of the season today at Nebraska. The Scarlet Knights came closest to full strength last week against Washington, as the injury list entering the game was its smallest in 2024. Today’s injury report features a few different names as injuries start to add up, ahead of today’s game, here’s a look at Rutgers’ latest injury report, listing which players are out and which are questionable.

OUT OF
LB Mohamed Toure
OL Bryan Felter
OL Emir Stinette

QUESTIONABLE
RB Ja’shon Benjamin
QB AJ Surace
S Flip Dixon
CB Robert Longerbeam
WR Ian Strong
WR Chris Long
WR Naseim Brantley
OL Shedrick Rhodes

Toure missed the entire season and will not return in 2024 due to a torn ACL. Felter is the second Rutgers player to be officially ruled out for the season. This is a blow to the offensive line, as he was arguably the second-best member of that unit this season behind left tackle Hollin Pierce. Felter was sidelined with a knee injury that reportedly occurred in a non-contact game last weekend against Washington. Felter left the game in the second quarter but returned to finish the second half.

Big Ten rules require teams to release their injury report two hours before kickoff. This rule was introduced last year and also applies this season. Nebraska is also required to release an injury report. Here’s a look at the players who need to make this list:

OUT OF
Tristan Alvano
Turner Corcoran

QUESTIONABLE
None

Kickoff for this Big Ten contest is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. EST at Memorial Stadium in Lincoln. This will be the third meeting between the two schools, with Washington winning the first two during the Chris Ash era at Rutgers.
