Christian County woman charged with child exploitation

HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (WBKO) – Stephanie Renee Vickers was arrested by Kentucky State Police on October 3 for child sexual abuse material.

According to KSP, Vickers was arrested as a result of an undercover investigation into crimes against children, a program designed to catch child sex offenders.

KSP conducted the investigation after it was discovered that a suspect was posting child sexual exploitation images online. All equipment used in connection with the case was confiscated by KSP for further investigation.

Vickers is currently charged with four counts of portraying a minor in a sexual performance under the age of 12, four counts of possession of items depicting a minor in a sexual performance under the age of 12 and four counts of promoting a minor under the age of 16 a sexual performance.

Vickers is currently being held at the Christian County Detention Center on $50,000 bail.
