Man City against Fulham: Kovacic goals trigger comeback

Manchester City survived the deficit with a 26th-minute goal from Andreas Pereira to stay a point behind Liverpool and extend their winning streak against Fulham to 17 games in all competitions.

Mateo Kovacic scored either side of the break but Fulham missed two great chances to score again in the first half, both through Adama Traore. After Jeremy Doku scored eight minutes from time, the Cottagers finally struck again through Rodrigo Muniz and lost 3-2.

Arsenal vs Southampton: Gunners avoid surprise result

Arsenal staved off a shock when Kai Havertz, Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka came from behind in the second half to move a point behind Liverpool with a 3-1 win.

Havertz equalized three minutes after summer signing Cameron Archer – as a substitute – put the Saints ahead in the 55th minute. Taylor Harwood-Bellis and Tyler Dibling also hit the woodwork in the second half for the visitors, who are yet to win.

Crystal Palace against Liverpool: Jota goal decisive

Diogo Jota’s ninth-minute strike from Cody Gakpo’s cross gave Arne Slot nine wins from his first ten games as manager, ensuring Liverpool remain top of the table during the international break.

Liverpool dominated for long periods but Eberechi Eze was unable to capitalize on the Eagles’ excellent second-half chance, who are in the relegation zone after the 1-0 defeat.

Brentford v Wolves: Goals galore at Gtech

Brentford remained unbeaten in style at home in all competitions this season, scoring four first-half goals from Nathan Collins, returning captain Christian Norgaard, Bryan Mbeumo from the penalty spot and Ethan Pinnock.

Wolves, who remain bottom by one point after their fifth consecutive defeat in all competitions, equalized twice through Matheus Cunha and Jorgen Strand Larsen. Fabio Carvalho scored another goal for the hosts in the 90th minute and Rayan Aït-Nouri scored in stoppage time to make it 5-3.

West Ham vs Ipswich: Hammers next to it at home

West Ham were desperate for victory after starting the season with three league home defeats and Michail Antonio got them going with a first-minute goal, although Liam Delap countered five minutes later for Ipswich who went into the had drawn in the last four games.

Mohammed Kudus, who also hit a post, scored the rebound after Antonio’s header hit the crossbar and Jarrod Bowen added another after the break. Lucas Paqueta scored the final goal in the Hammers’ 4-1 win.

Leicester against Bournemouth: Buonanotte’s goal inspires the Foxes

Leicester celebrated their first win of the season as the Foxes beat Bournemouth thanks to a superb strike from 19-year-old Brighton loanee Facundo Buonanotte.

Bournemouth’s record signing Evanilson, who opened his account in Monday’s 3-1 home win over Southampton, had the second-half equalizer ruled out for offside.
