Glenside man convicted of possession of child pornography, over 1,200 files found

Patrick Winslow Fox, 42, of the 2000 block of Wharton Road in the Glenside section of Abington Township, was sentenced to two to four years in prison for multiple felony counts of child sexual abuse and possession of child pornography. Mainline Media News reported.

According to the story, Fox pleaded guilty earlier this year and was ordered to have no contact with minors. He must also report his address to the state police within 15 years.

The investigation began in November 2021 after Abington detective Rick Beaghley connected to Fox’s computer network, which contained multiple images and videos of children under 18 engaging in sexual acts or sexually explicit poses.

On May 5, 2022, investigators showed up at Fox’s apartment with a search warrant. A forensic examination of the computer found 1,202 images of minors, the vast majority of which were of pre-pubescent children, including approximately 60 images depicting children under the age of 5.
