But car experts have discovered there’s one in the 007 collection that’s most likely to shake, but not move, the Bond girls.

A study evaluated 150 vehicles used in the long-running film series.

Points were awarded for speed, style, performance, handling and acceleration. And the AMC Hornet, driven by Roger Moore in The Man with the Golden Gun, was the worst.

In the 1974 film, Bond grabs the car from a dealer in Bangkok and performs a mid-air barrel spin, jumping 40 feet over a river.

Although the Hornet reached a top speed of 130 miles per hour, it was voted the slowest engine Bond drove.

The Triumph Stag from Diamonds are Forever and the Ford Edge from Quantum of Solace were rated next worst.

The Lotus Esprit from 1977’s “The Spy Who Loved Me” also made the list.

Unsurprisingly, it was the Aston Martin that took the crown as the best Bond car of all time with the DBS V12 that Daniel Craig drove in the 2006 film Casino Royale.

The iconic car has a top speed of 211mph, accelerates to 60mph in just 3.4 seconds and costs £240,000.

Aston Martin, based in Gaydon in Warwickshire, took six places in the top 10, with Die Another Day’s V12 Vanquish second and Specter’s DB10 third.

Dailybase’s Daniël de Voer, who conducted the survey, said: “Each vehicle is not just a means of transport, but a symbol of Bond’s refined taste and the sophisticated world in which he lives.

“These iconic cars don’t just captivate audiences; they become legendary.”

Bond fan Clive Acreman, 54, said: “The cars are a big draw, from the flashiest to the simplest. My favorite cars are definitely in For Your Eyes Only.

“One minute Roger Moore is driving a white Lotus Esprit Turbo and the next he’s driving a Citroen 2CV.”
