Quincy police are investigating shots fired on North 18th

QUINCY (WGEM) – Quincy Police responded to a report of shots fired late Friday evening in the 500 block of North 18th Street.

According to police, they were dispatched to the area at 10:50 p.m. where officers interviewed witnesses who saw a man firing a handgun multiple times.

The witnesses told police the man left the scene in a white pickup truck.

According to police, there were no injuries or property damage in the incident.

The police believe that this is an isolated incident and that the investigation is still ongoing. Anyone with information should call QPD at 217-228-4470.
