One person was injured in a crash in Mason Township near the roundabout at US 12 and Five Points Road

CASS COUNTY, Mich. (WNDU) – One person was injured in a crash in Mason Township near the roundabout at US 12 and Five Points Road.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office was assigned to investigate the accident on October 4th after 11 p.m

Investigation revealed that 27-year-old Jose Cisneros was traveling westbound on US 12 when Cisneros lost control of the vehicle and entered the roundabout.

The vehicle stopped on U.S. 12 west of the traffic circle and Cisneros was taken to South Bend Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash.

It is unknown if seat belts were worn at the time of the accident, but drugs and alcohol do not appear to have played a role in this accident.
