Actress Priyanka Arul Mohan shares health update after accident during mall inauguration

Actress Priyanka Arul Mohan, known for her roles in Doctor, Gang Leader and others, was recently injured while inaugurating a mall in Thorur, Andhra Pradesh. A video that went viral on social media shows people filming the inauguration of the mall with their cell phone cameras.

Suddenly the stage breaks and the people on the stage fall. There was a riot following the incident and authorities quickly rescued the Doctor actress and others. In the clip, the police officers can be seen escorting Priyanka, dressed in a yellow saree, out of the venue.

A larger close-up video of this incident was also shared on social media, showing the host announcing Priyanka’s arrival. The audience cheered for the actress and some videographers were also on the stage clicking her photos. Suddenly the mishap happened.

Luckily, Priyanka is out of danger and has posted updates on her health on Twitter. She tweeted: “In light of the accident that occurred at an event I attended in Torrur today, I wanted to let my well-wishers know that I am fine and lucky to escape with minor injuries.” My prayers and Wishes for a speedy recovery to those who may have suffered injuries in the incident.” The doctor-actress thanked everyone for the kind messages of love and care they sent her and concluded with a “thank you” message.

Priyanka Mohan played the role of Charulatha in the film Saripodhaa Sanivaaram written and directed by Vivek Athreya. Headlined by Nani, this film was released in theaters on September 26, 2024. Backed by DVV Entertainment, this film starred SJ Suryah, Aditi Balan, Murli Sharma, Sai Kumar and others. Saripodhaa Sanivaaram received mixed reviews for its brilliant direction but poor writing. This film is currently streaming on Netflix.
