‘Daily Show’ rips ‘shameful’ new election development

“Daily Show” host Michael Kosta explained Thursday how the stakes have become even higher in the 2024 election.

Betting on congressional elections could be legal thanks to a ruling by the Federal Appeals Court on Wednesday. The decision has heightened concerns about the impact of betting on election integrity.

“This is shameful. Why are we betting on congressional elections when this country could fall into a fascist dictatorship? asked Kosta. “Because I want to bet on it! You know, if I could pull off a fascist takeover with the over-under at the Jets game? Ooh, baby, I’m in the money, I’m in the rain!”

“This is the last thing American democracy needs,” he continued. “‘Hey honey, how did the voting go?'” “You know, I stood in line for hours, and when I finally got to the booth, Tony ‘The Shark Fin’ Gambino threatened to beat me up if I voted for him does not help to cover the spread.”
