A woman was killed and a man injured in an overnight shooting in Duquesne

DUQUESNE, Pa. (KDKA) – A woman was killed and another man was injured in an overnight shooting in Duquesne.

The shooting happened just before 3 a.m. Thursday at a home on Orchard Park Avenue.

According to police, a woman was found in the home who had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity has not been released.

A man was also shot. He was taken to the hospital and was last reported to be in stable condition.

Police say the initial investigation indicates someone entered the home and shot both people.

Investigators continue to work to identify and locate a suspect.
