Main road reopened after multi-vehicle accident

A section of a main road in East Sussex has been reopened following a multi-vehicle crash.

The A26 was closed between the B2192 junction and Wellingham Lane near Stoneham, north of Lewes, on Thursday evening.

The AA said it received the first report of the crash just before 5:30pm BST and there were no further reports of a closure as of 7am on Friday.

Sussex Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service have been contacted for further information.
