Woman fatally stabbed in Longwood

Police have identified a woman who was fatally stabbed in Longwood Thursday afternoon.

Officers identified the woman as Gwendolyn Guyton.

Investigators say the 29-year-old was stabbed in the neck and torso on Southern Boulevard around 3:30 p.m

The suspect was described as a woman who was last seen wearing a green hoodie and blue sweatpants.

According to police, she fled on her bicycle toward St. John Avenue.

People who knew the victim called her GiGi and said she had a young son.

“No one deserves to be killed on the streets like a dog,” one person said.
