According to police, two injured women fled the scene on Gaither Street

MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Memphis Police are investigating a shooting that left two people injured.

At approximately 9:12 p.m., officers responded to a shooting on Gaither Street near Havana Street.

When police arrived, they found two victims had been shot on Gaither Street, but fled the scene. One went to a fire station on South Lauderdale Street and the other fled to a location in South Bellevue.

Both women were taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition.

There is currently no suspect information.
