The series follows his journey through a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home. As he embarks on his journey, the connections he makes along the way complicate his ultimate plan.

The new season picks up where the first season left off, following Daryl and Carol (McBride) as they both grapple with old demons as she struggles to find her boyfriend and he struggles with his decision to live in France stay, argues, which leads to tensions in the nest.
