UNLV will reimburse employees for mental health care costs resulting from campus shootings

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – UNLV says it will provide refunds to employees who paid for counseling or other mental health services as a result of the Dec. 6 campus shooting.

The Rebel Recovery Mental Health Reimbursement Program covers payments made from December 7 through January 1, 2025, or until funds are exhausted.

Those eligible must be active employees at the time of payment.

Reimbursable payments apply to the following services: deductibles, copayments, coinsurance and direct payments.

The funds are paid out on the 30th of each month. Further information can be found on this website.
