Victim injured in attack near University of Arizona campus

TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) – A man suffered injuries in a serious attack near the University of Arizona campus late last month.

University of Arizona police said it happened on Sept. 26 near Park Avenue and 2nd Street.

UAPD said Tucson police investigated and notified UAPD of the attack on Wednesday, Oct. 2.

There was a verbal argument between the victim and two suspects that ended in bodily harm.

Both suspects were described as white males, 18 to 25 years old and approximately 5’7″ to 6’2″ tall. One had long blonde hair and the other had short brown hair.

The victim suffered broken bones, a head injury and temporary visual impairment.

Anyone with information about the attack is asked to call 88-CRIME.
