Garth Brooks is accused of rape and sexual assault in a former makeup artist’s lawsuit

Country singer Garth Brooks has been accused of sexual assault and rape by a makeup artist.

In a lawsuit filed Thursday and obtained by Extra, the unnamed woman known as “Jane Roe” claims that the country’s signatory raped her, showed her his genitals and sent her sexually explicit texts throughout 2019.

In one incident alleged by the document, Brooks got out of the shower “naked with an erection” while the woman was preparing to do his hair and makeup. Brooks allegedly then placed the woman’s hand on his penis and expressed interest in her performing “oral sex on him.”

According to the complaint, Brooks appeared “completely naked” while they shared a hotel room in Los Angeles to record a Grammys tribute to Sam Moore in 2019.

According to the documents, the woman did not know they were staying in a hotel room together until she arrived.

The woman accuses Brooks of raping her in the hotel suite and claims she “couldn’t escape his physical dominance.”

The doctors added: “Despite cold disregard from Ms Roe, everything continued as normal when Brooks finished. Ms. Roe worked quickly to style his hair and do his makeup for the event so he was on time.”

After this encounter, Brooks is said to have openly discussed his sexual fantasies with her. The complaint states, “Brooks frequently expressed his sexual fantasies about her out loud and fondled her breasts while she did his hair and makeup.”

According to the complaint, Brooks obtained the woman’s phone in 2020 and “deleted most of the text messages he sent to her that contained explicit sexual content.”

According to the complaint, they stopped working together in 2021 and she then moved to Mississippi.

Along with the allegations, the documents stated: “Brooks took advantage of what he viewed as an opportunity to introduce a female employee to a side of Brooks that he is hiding from the public.” This side of Brooks believes he has a right to sexual gratification if he wants her, and that using an employee to do that is fair game.”

Before the woman filed the claim, Brooks filed a pre-emptive complaint last month identifying himself as “John Doe.”

In Brooks’s file, obtained by Extra, he described the woman as “a lying blackmailer intent on destroying his professional reputation.”

Brooks denied the allegations and emphasized: “[Roe’s] Claims are not true. [Roe] However, is aware of the significant, irreparable harm that such false allegations would cause to the plaintiff’s well-deserved reputation as a decent and caring human being, along with the inevitable harm to his family and the irreparable harm to his career and livelihood that would result would if she carried out her threat and filed her made-up lawsuit “publicly.” In fact, this knowledge undoubtedly explains why [Roe] threatened to file a lawsuit through a “confidential” letter of demand rather than simply filing a lawsuit to redress her alleged (but untrue) injuries.”
