Officials pursue Camaro drivers on LA highways – NBC Los Angeles

A chase that began in the Gardena area and continued on streets and highways in West Los Angeles ended Thursday in a parking garage in downtown LA.

Officers pursued a Chevy Camaro after a stolen vehicle was reported. Details of the theft were initially unknown.

The driver of the bright blue car drove through West LA and Beverly Hills at high speeds, making abrupt U-turns and lane changes. The driver narrowly missed other cars at intersections.

The driver entered the 10 Freeway, weaving between slower vehicles and a concrete barrier before exiting south of downtown Los Angeles. The Camaro was last seen pulling into an underground parking garage and being pursued by officers.

NBCLA is trying to confirm that two people in the car were in custody.
