The teenage suspect in the Cheyenne Park attack remains in custody

LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) – The teenage suspect in an assault case is still being held at the Youth Village.

District Attorney Marco Montemayor said the boy who allegedly attacked an elderly man in Cheyenne Park on Sept. 14 had a hearing this week.

During the hearing it was decided that he would remain in custody. He has another court hearing scheduled in ten days to decide whether he will be released or remain in the juvenile detention center.
