Dump truck accident sends person to hospital

CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – An accident involving a dump truck that destroyed power lines led to one person being hospitalized in Charleston late Thursday afternoon, a local official tells us.

It was reported at the intersection of Ruffner Avenue and Quarrier Street around 4:30 p.m.

Details of the accident and the extent of the person’s injuries are currently not available.
