Waco man charged with sexual assault of toddler: warrant

WACO, Texas (KWTX) – Brian Munger, 39, is charged with two counts of first-degree aggravated sexual assault of a child. The victim was three years old at the time of the attack, according to an arrest warrant.

The victim, now 13, told a police officer that Munger took her into a bathroom twice, turned off the lights and sexually assaulted her, the warrant states.

According to the document, Munger warned the child not to tell anyone or he would beat him.

The investigator learned that Munger had access to the child during the period of the alleged sexual assault.

Munger was contacted by the investigator, denied the allegations and “did not give a clear answer” when asked if he had time for an in-person interview, the warrant states. The next time the detective called, Munger didn’t answer.

Munger was arrested by Waco police on Oct. 2 and remains in custody at the McLennan County Jail on bonds totaling $50,000.
