After a well-deserved siesta following Dead & Company’s 30-night Dead Forever series at the Sphere in Las Vegas, which concluded August 10, Bobby Weir continues to plan his return to the road this fall and winter. Today, the legendary Grateful Dead guitarist and singer officially shares his New Year’s Eve plans, unveiling a six-show series with his Wolf Bros combo from December 27th to January 3rd in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

After a while to make New Year’s Day resolutions, Weir and the Wolf Bros trio will stick with the celebration taking place on January 2nd and 3rd at the more intimate stage of Fort Lauderdale’s The Parker.

Ahead of the New Year’s run, Weir will make two high-profile festival appearances in the fall, first spotlighting alongside other stars like Trey Anastasio, Eric Clapton and Mavis Staples at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles for “Life Is a Carnival: A Musical Celebration of Robbie Robertson.” on October 17th. On October 27th, the icon will join forces with The String Cheese Incident to headline Live Oak, Florida’s Suwannee Hulaween as The Bobby Weir Incident. In November, Weir will perform five symphony concerts with Wolf Bros, with stops in Cincinnati on November 13th, Chicago on November 17th and 18th and New Orleans on November 22nd and 23rd.
