Greeneville man arrested for aggravated assault and violating protective order – www.elizabethton.com

JOHNSON CITY – On Oct. 2, officers with the Johnson City Police Department arrested Zebedee Gross, 23, of Greeneville and charged him with aggravated assault and violating a protective order.

At approximately 3:15 a.m., officers responded to a parking lot on Marketplace Boulevard after receiving a report of a domestic disturbance. When officers arrived, Gross was still on site. According to police, he hit the victim several times and grabbed her by the neck. The victim had an active protective order against Gross.

Gross was taken to the Washington County Detention Center where he awaits further court proceedings.
