Palmdale man dies in crash on Highway 58 near Mill Street

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) – A 31-year-old man died in a crash on Highway 58 Thursday morning.

The California Highway Patrol said that at approximately 4:50 a.m. on October 3, 2024, officers were called to a crash on westbound Highway 58 west of Mill Street.

According to the CHP, a 31-year-old Palmdale man was driving a Toyota Tacoma westbound on Highway 58.

According to CHP, the truck overturned for reasons that are still unclear.

The man died from his injuries.

According to the CHP, driver impairment is not suspected to have contributed to this accident.
