Man arrested for child abuse in January

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Evansville Police have made an arrest as part of a child abuse investigation.

Daniel Richie, 27, of Central City, is accused of inappropriately touching a young child.

According to police, this happened in 2020 and the victim came forward last year.

Records show a warrant was issued for Richie’s arrest last January.

He was booked into jail Wednesday on a $2,500 bond.
