Police identify a person of interest in the Pittsfield stabbing

A person of interest has been identified in connection with a stabbing Tuesday in Pittsfield that left a man with life-threatening injuries, Pittsfield police said.

On October 1st at approximately 10:18 p.m., officers received a call about a stabbing near Kent Avenue.

A 30-year-old Pittsfield man suffered at least one stab wound, police said. He was taken to Berkshire Medical Center.
